THE ALL-NEW COMPUTER TUTOR HOUR

As a follow-up to our Introduction to Computer Skills seminars, the library will be offering a one-hour computer skills tutoring session every Thursday afternoon from 3:00 – 4:00 PM in the library reading room.

The first computer tutor topic on January 24th will be Using Email. Additional tutorials will focus other topics, such as:

  • creating, saving and finding files
  • working with photos
  • searching the Internet

Emphasis will be placed on practicing skills on the library’s public access computers and answering questions. Computer Tutor hour is free and open to the public, and please remember to bring your library card to sign in.

APRIL CELEBRATIONS!

NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK, April 13 through 19

...brings the annual Culver’s Coloring Contest to the library. Beginning April 1 (no fooling!), Children 11 years of age and younger can stop by the library and pick up a coloring “entry form.” All participants who return a completed coloring sheet to the library by April 24 will receive a coupon good for FREE CUSTARD
at Culver's. Winning entries will be awarded prizes the following week.

NATIONAL POETRY MONTH

To celebrate National Poetry Month, the Boscobel Library will be hosting a special poetry discussion workshop sponsored by Poetry Magazine. Free copies of the April issue of the magazine are available at the library for those who would like to participate in the workshop, which will take place Tuesday, April 22 at 7:00 p.m. in the library reading room. No experience necessary, just bring your imagination! Please call the library to pre-register for this event.
